I have SSEN. What now?
Information about the health status of students with SEN is confidential and will not be disclosed to teachers. However, in order to ensure the necessary conditions throughout the academic journey, GENEE advises teachers to talk to students with SEN at the beginning of each term. This contact is very important so that, together, appropriate solutions can be found for the context of the curricular unit.
On the Sharing Remote Teaching and Research Experiences (SaRTRE) website you can find several recommendations, within the framework of distance learning, on appropriate pedagogical strategies for students with SEN. More information here.
GENEE’s team is also available to help teachers find the most appropriate pedagogical strategies for each student. Contacts are available here.
