Neurodiversity Program Opens Applications for the 4th Edition: An Opportunity for the Inclusion of Autistic Professionals in the Tech Industry
We announce the opening of applications for the 4th edition of the Neurodiversity Program, an initiative aimed at promoting the employability of people with autism in technology companies. Launched in 2021, this program has already integrated 22 autistic professionals into Critical Software and Critical Techworks, which operate in the offices of Coimbra, Viseu, Porto, and Lisbon.
The goal of this initiative is to provide employment opportunities for autistic individuals who are interested in the technology field. Applicants must be of legal age, possess intermediate knowledge of programming and English, and have motivation for work. A higher education degree in the field is not required to apply.

To better introduce the program and the hiring companies, various free events are scheduled, which require prior registration:
Open Days: These will take place in the first week of April in the following cities:

- Porto: April 5
- Coimbra: April 3
- Viseu: April 4
Webinars: These will be held on the following dates:
- May 22
- June 26
The webinars aim to clarify the selection process and answer general questions about the program.
